Metro Grandview Smoked Walnut is waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring. Color and appearance: Deep espresso-brown wood look, with planks ranging from dark chocolate to warm walnut. Each plank is 9 x 60 in., 8 mm thick overall, with a 28 mil wear layer, a 6.5 mm rigid core, and a 1.5 mm attached pad for comfort and sound control. The planks click together, have a micro-beveled edge, and carry a UV-cured finish. Colors can look different in your space as lighting, screens, and nearby finishes change the way they appear.
The 28 mil wear layer helps the surface hold up to everyday foot traffic, pets, and furniture. Because the planks are waterproof, Metro Grandview Smoked Walnut works in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements as well as living areas and bedrooms. The attached pad means no separate underlayment is needed for most installations. A sweep, vacuum, or damp mop is all it takes to keep it clean.
The material is listed by the carton, each covering 14.96 square feet. A full carton is $74.65. Measure each room, closet, and connected area you want to cover. Allow for layout and cuts before rounding your total up to whole cartons, since the final number of cartons depends on the installation plan. If several rooms use the same color, combine their measurements when planning your material quantity.
The material price stays the same whether you purchase flooring alone or request professional installation. Installation is quoted separately after the project details and measurements are reviewed. When asking for a quote, include room dimensions and photos of the current floor if you have them. Mention doorways, closets, stairs, and transitions that could affect the layout.
